Bridport

Bridport lies just over a mile inland from the coast at Wesr Bay where the River Brit flows out to the sea. It nestles among the hills of West Dorset and is one of tge Gateway Towns giving access to the Jurassic Coast. Brisport is a Beacon Town in tecognition of the quality and diversity of its locally produced foodstuffs.
A number of Bridport manufactured products are distributed countrywide and internationally, some being particularly specialised.
The population of the Brisport is approximately 7300.
The Town Council are at Mountfield.
