HELLO ANGELS
I have noticed that some people have not contributed on the blog commenting on their days in England. Here is the deal: when all days are completed, I will upload the pictures.
I don't know who is missing but I think that the last day recorded on the blog was tuesday: We need someone doing wednesday (sailing, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door), thursday (school tour and Bridport town trail, last night) and friday (Hostel and trip).
Remember: No diary, NO PICTURES!!!!

Royal Crescent =]
The Royal Crescent is a residential road of 30 houses, laid out in a crescent, in the city of Bath, England. Designed by the architect John Good the Younger and built between 1767 and 1774, it is among the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the United Kingdom and is a grade I listed building.
The houses have been home to various notable people for over 200 years. Changes have been made to the interiors, however the facade remains much as it was when it was built.
The Royal Crescent now include a hotel and museum with some of the houses being converted into flats and offices. The buildings have been used as a location for several films and television programmes.

Buckingham Palace and St.James's Parks
St. James's Park is a 23 hectare park in Westminster, central London, the oldest of the Royal park of London. The park lies at the southernmost tip of the St. James's park area, which was named after a leper hospital dedicated to St.James the Less.
St. James's Park is bounded by Buckingham Palace to the west, The mall and St. James's Palace to the North, Horse guards to the east, and Birdcage Walk to the south. The park has a small lake, St. James's Park Lake, with two islands, Duck Island, and West Island.Paula :)
Dorchester
In the 17th and 18th centuries great fires destroyed large parts of the town, but some of the mediaeval buildings, including Judge Jeffreys' lodgings, and the Tudor almshouse survive in the town centre, amongst the replacement Georgian buildings, many of which are built in Portland limestone
Currently some the most interesting places to visit are these:
-Dinosaur Museum:Dorset has the Dinosaur museum, most recently chosen as one of Britain’s Ten Best Child-Friendly Museums.
-Tutankhamun exhibition:The Tutankhamun exhibition holds a spectacular recreation of Tutankhamun’s tomb and treasures.
Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door
Lulworth Cove is a horseshoe shaped harbour within the grounds of the Lulworth Estate. The area supports a remarkable array of diverse natural life, particularly butterflies.
At the western point of Lulworth Cove is Stair Hole, a series of arches formed by the action of the sea on the soft Portland and Purbeck limestone.
Visitors can enjoy excellent walks along the cliff tops and at low tide the beach and tidal pools can be explored. Just to the west of Lulworth Cove is the natural arch os Durdle Door.
DURDLE DOOR:
Durdle Door is one of the most photographed landmarks along the Jurassic Coast. This rock arch in the sea was formed as a result of the softer rocks being eroded away behind the hard limestones, allowing the sea to punch through them. The name Durdle is derived from an Old English word 'thirl' meaning bore. Eventually the arch will collapse to leave a sea stack such as those that can be seen at Ladram Bay in East Devon.

With its 135 meters high, held the rating of the largest Ferris wheel in the world until 2006.
BRIDGE TOWER:
Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name. It has become an iconic symbol of London.
The bridge consists of two towers which joined together by horizontal bridges. It construction started in 1886 and took eight years.
